Cancellation Policy
Trady is currently in early access. This policy explains the cancellation approach we expect to apply when paid bookings go live. The final policy will be confirmed before customers can place paid bookings.
How to cancel
When paid bookings go live, customers will be able to request a cancellation by contacting hello@gettrady.co.uk or through the Trady booking flow where available.
14-day cancellation rights
For most services bought online or at a distance, UK consumers may have a 14-day cancellation right. If a customer asks for the service to begin during the 14-day period, the customer may need to pay for work already completed. If the service is fully performed after the customer has expressly requested the work to start, the right to cancel may be lost.
Emergency and urgent jobs
For emergency or urgent jobs, customers may ask for work to begin immediately. Before the job is accepted, Trady will ask the customer to confirm that they want the work to start straight away and understand how this may affect cancellation rights.
Refund timing
Where a refund is due after a valid cancellation, Trady will aim to process the refund without undue delay and within 14 days where required by law.
Worker cancellations
If an approved worker cancels or cannot attend, Trady will aim to notify the customer as quickly as possible and, where available, help find another suitable worker. If no suitable replacement is available, the customer will not be charged for work not performed.
Model cancellation form
To cancel, customers may email hello@gettrady.co.uk with the following details: name, email address, booking reference if available, job address, date of booking, and a clear statement that they wish to cancel.
This policy will be finalised before live paid bookings are enabled.
