Add your insurance
Before you can take jobs, add public liability insurance of at least £1M, the only credential we check.
Set up payouts
Stripe verifies your identity and bank details so you can be paid. You'll do this before your first job.
Paid on sign-off
The customer's payment is held securely by Stripe and released to you when they confirm the job is done. Our commission comes out of that payment. No upfront fees.

What you'll need
Create your account, then work through your profile checklist in any order — your trade, the areas you cover, your insurance, and how you like to work. You can stop and come back to it. Applications are reviewed manually, and we don't approve every applicant.
A basic DBS certificate is optional. We ask whether you hold one and show what you tell us on your profile — we do not check it, and it does not affect the work you are offered. Some customers like to see one; you apply for it yourself (£21.50, anyone can get one) at gov.uk. The one thing you do need is valid public liability insurance of at least £1M — that is the only credential we check.
