1. What Trady is
Trady is an online marketplace that connects Londoners with vetted tradespeople — plumbers, electricians, gas engineers, locksmiths, handymen, cleaners, roofers, and more. We're built around three ideas that the rest of the industry hasn't quite nailed: speed (responses in minutes, not days), fairness (no lead fees, no subscriptions, transparent pricing), and safety (money held in escrow, every Worker properly verified).
2. Who we are
Trady is a trading name of KT Partners Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. The company was incorporated on 20 October 2022 and is an active, solvent business.

3. How we make money
We charge two small fees that together keep the platform running:
- Worker commission: 5% of the Job value when a Job is completed. Workers pay nothing to join, nothing monthly, and nothing for unaccepted leads.
- Customer platform fee: a small fee added at checkout, always shown clearly before you confirm a booking.
We do not take a cut of disputes. We do not hold your money to earn interest on it — it sits in a Stripe-managed escrow account until the Job is complete. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Regulators we work with
- Companies House — we file annual accounts and confirmation statements in the normal way.
- HM Revenue & Customs — for corporation tax and, in future, VAT if our turnover requires it.
- Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — we are registering as a data controller. See our Privacy Policy.
Our payment processor, Stripe Payments UK, Ltd, is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as an Electronic Money Institution.
