1. What Get Trady is
Get Trady is an online marketplace that connects Londoners with insured tradespeople — plumbers, electricians, gas engineers, locksmiths, handymen, cleaners, roofers, and more. We're built around three ideas that the rest of the industry hasn't quite nailed: speed (responses in minutes, not days), fairness (no lead fees, no subscriptions, transparent pricing), and safety (money held in escrow by Stripe, every tradesperson's £1M public liability insurance verified before they can take work).
2. Who we are
Get Trady is a trading name of KT Partners Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. The company was incorporated on 20 October 2022 and is an active, solvent business.

3. How we make money
Get Trady charges a single tiered commission on the value of completed Jobs, deducted from the tradesperson's payout. Customers pay one all-in price — the fee is included in the quote, never added at checkout. Workers pay nothing to join, nothing monthly, and nothing for unaccepted leads.
- Jobs under £500: 15%
- Jobs £500 up to but not including £2,000: 12%
- Jobs £2,000 up to but not including £5,000: 8%
- Jobs £5,000 and over: 6%
- Minimum fee per job: £10. On Emergency Broadcast jobs, the Get Trady commission is 3 percentage points higher than the standard band — a higher commission, not a charge added to the customer price.
We do not take a cut of disputes. We do not hold your money to earn interest on it — it sits in a Stripe-managed escrow account until the Job is complete. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Regulators we work with
- Companies House — we file annual accounts and confirmation statements in the normal way.
- HM Revenue & Customs — for corporation tax and, in future, VAT if our turnover requires it.
- Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — we are registering as a data controller. See our Privacy Policy.
Our payment processor, Stripe Payments UK, Ltd, is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as an Electronic Money Institution.
