Is it free to post a job?
Completely free. You only pay when you've chosen a tradesperson and they complete the work.
What fees does Trady charge customers?
Trady charges customers a small 5% service fee on the total job value. This covers our vetting, insurance, and customer protection guarantee.
How do emergency bookings work?
Emergency jobs carry a premium: 1.5x standard rate for evenings, 2x for nights and bank holidays. This is always shown clearly before you confirm.
What does the Trady Promise cost?
Nothing extra. The Trady Promise — including free remedy jobs and refund protection — is included in all bookings at no extra charge.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price agreed with your tradesperson is the price you pay, plus Trady's 5% service fee. No surprises.
What's included in the platform fee?
Vetting all workers, payment escrow via Stripe, the Trady Promise guarantee, customer support, and the platform technology.
Can I get a quote before booking?
Yes. You post your job, receive quotes from matched tradespeople, and compare before committing.
