Modern Slavery statement
Our voluntary statement under the spirit of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Last updated: 1 May 2026
1. About us
KT Partners Ltd (company number 14433679) operates the Get Trady marketplace, connecting Customers in Greater London with self-employed tradespeople. We are a small UK business with a simplesupply chain: cloud hosting, payment processing, and professional advisers. We do not manufacture goods. We do not operate outside the United Kingdom.
2. Our zero-tolerance position
Slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking have no place in our business or our supply chain. We will not knowingly do business with any supplier, Worker, or partner who participates in, enables, or turns a blind eye to such practices.
3. Our Workers
Before a tradesperson can take a Job, we require valid £1M public liability insurance in the Worker's own name or trading name. We verify that cover and we enforce it: if it lapses or expires, the platform blocks the Worker from new Jobs.
We also collect, at application, government-issued photo ID, evidence of the right to work in the United Kingdom, and any trade qualifications or DBS certificate the applicant holds. We hold those documents and read them as part of a manual application review, and we decline applications that raise a concern. We want to be precise about what that is and is not: apart from insurance, these are documents we collect and review — we do not currently check them against an external register or issuing body, and we do not carry out biometric identity or DBS checks.
Workers on Get Trady are genuinely self-employed, set their own prices, choose which Jobs to accept, and are free to work on other platforms. We do not tolerate signs that a Worker is being forced to use the platform or controlled by a third party.
4. Indicators we watch for
We train our team to look for:
- Multiple Worker accounts registered from the same device or using the same bank account.
- A Worker's earnings being routed to a third party.
- Inconsistencies between a Worker's stated identity and their ID documents.
- A Worker who appears to be controlled or coached during verification.
- Any tip-off from Customers, other Workers, or members of the public.
When we see any of these indicators, we suspend the account pending investigation and, where appropriate, refer the matter to the Modern Slavery Helpline (08000 121 700) or the relevant police force.
5. Our suppliers
Our main suppliers are large, established UK- and EEA-regulated businesses (Stripe, our cloud hosting provider, our email provider). Each publishes its own Modern Slavery statement where required by law, and each is bound by contractual commitments to compliance.
6. Reporting concerns
If you have any concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with Get Trady — whether you are a Customer, a Worker, or a member of the public — please tell us:
- Confidential email: legal@gettrady.co.uk
- Modern Slavery Helpline (24/7, anonymous): 08000 121 700 or modernslaveryhelpline.org
