Modern Slavery statement
Our voluntary statement under the spirit of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Last updated: 19 April 2026
1. About us
KT Partners Ltd (company number 14433679) operates the Trady marketplace, connecting Customers in Greater London with self-employed tradespeople. We are a small UK business with a simple supply chain: cloud hosting, payment processing, identity verification services, and professional advisers. We do not manufacture goods. We do not operate outside the United Kingdom.
2. Our zero-tolerance position
Slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking have no place in our business or our supply chain. We will not knowingly do business with any supplier, Worker, or partner who participates in, enables, or turns a blind eye to such practices.
3. Our Workers
Every tradesperson on Trady is verified before they can take a Job. Verification includes:
- Government-issued photo ID and biometric identity checks.
- Confirmation of the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Trade qualifications checked against the relevant official register (Gas Safe, NICEIC, NAPIT, etc.) where applicable.
- Public Liability Insurance verified in the Worker's own name or trading name.
- Enhanced DBS check where the Worker enters occupied homes (e.g. cleaners).
Workers on Trady are genuinely self-employed, set their own prices, choose which Jobs to accept, and are free to work on other platforms. We do not tolerate signs that a Worker is being forced to use the platform or controlled by a third party.
4. Indicators we watch for
We train our team to look for:
- Multiple Worker accounts registered from the same device or using the same bank account.
- A Worker's earnings being routed to a third party.
- Inconsistencies between a Worker's stated identity and their ID documents.
- A Worker who appears to be controlled or coached during verification.
- Any tip-off from Customers, other Workers, or members of the public.
When we see any of these indicators, we suspend the account pending investigation and, where appropriate, refer the matter to the Modern Slavery Helpline (08000 121 700) or the relevant police force.
5. Our suppliers
Our main suppliers are large, established UK- and EEA-regulated businesses (Stripe, our cloud hosting provider, our identity verification provider). Each publishes its own Modern Slavery statement where required by law, and each is bound by contractual commitments to compliance.
6. Reporting concerns
If you have any concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with Trady — whether you are a Customer, a Worker, or a member of the public — please tell us:
- Confidential email: legal@trady.co.uk
- Modern Slavery Helpline (24/7, anonymous): 08000 121 700 or modernslaveryhelpline.org
