How do I close my Get Trady account?

From your account settings, open your profile and choose Delete account, then confirm your password. You can't delete while you have an open or in-progress job, a live dispute, or funds still held in escrow by Stripe — resolve those first. Deletion has a 30-day grace period: your account is hidden straight away and permanently deleted 30 days later. During that window you can restore it from the cancellation link we email you, or by logging back in and choosing 'Keep my account'. When deletion completes, your profile, messages and uploaded documents are permanently removed. Some records — booking, payment and dispute history — are kept for 6 years from the end of the tax year they relate to, because UK accounting and tax law requires it. Your name and contact details are removed from them. Those records still reference your account, so they remain your personal data: you can ask us for a copy at any time.
