How are tradespeople verified?

Before a tradesperson can accept any job on Get Trady, we verify they hold a valid £1M Public Liability insurance certificate. We check their cover against the certificate's own expiry date, and once it lapses the platform automatically blocks them from taking new jobs until they upload valid cover again. We do not carry out identity, right-to-work, address or qualification checks — tradespeople are independent businesses responsible for their own registrations and compliance.
