When am I actually charged?

You're charged the moment you confirm the booking. Your card payment moves straight into escrow with Stripe — it never sits in Get Trady's bank account, and it doesn't reach the tradesperson yet. The tradesperson is paid only after you've reviewed the finished work and either approved it or let the review window pass without raising a dispute.
