When do I actually get paid?

For Tier 1 jobs (under £500): full payment captured upfront, released to you 48 hours after you mark the job complete (assuming the customer doesn't raise a dispute). Tier 2 (£500–£2k) and Tier 3 (£2k–£5k): deposit released after the customer confirms the scope and the 24-hour cool-off passes; balance released 48 hours after job complete. Tier 4 (£15k–£50k): each milestone (30/40/30%) releases 72 hours after you upload the milestone photo evidence and the customer either approves or doesn't dispute. Payouts to your bank typically take 1–2 working days from release. Stripe Instant Payouts are available for an additional 1% if you need same-day.
